Jennifer was reported missing when she failed to show up for work at Central Florida Investments, on the morning of Tuesday, January 24th, 2006.

​

Those who know Jennifer knew something was wrong immediately. If she was going to be late for work or a meeting she would call. In fact, Jennifer maintained regular routines including talking with her boyfriend, Rob, who lived in south Florida every day during their morning commutes and in the evening before going to bed. 

​

On Monday, the morning of January 23, 2006, Jennifer left her boyfriend’s home in south Florida and drove directly to work in Ocoee FL. That evening, Jennifer left work at approximately 6 PM, walking out of the office building with her boss. They told each other to have a good evening and would meet again in the morning. That evening, Jennifer talked to her mother and father, Joyce and Drew, her brother, Logan, and later with some friends. She ended that night talking with Rob, by phone. That night was the last anyone has heard from or seen Jennifer.

After his niece Jennifer Kesse’s abduction in January 2006, Bill was brought to his knees – broken, he faced the brutal facts of his life and decided something had to change – himself! He grappled with feelings of despair, anger, and hopelessness, but through his journey, he found a way to overcome these challenges. 

​

Bill shares his raw and honest journey with authentic vulnerability and offers relatable examples, meaningful quotes, reference topics, and reflection points to provide practical guidance that will empower others to navigate their own challenges and move towards a brighter future. 

​

Bill's diverse experiences, from his role as an entrepreneur to his ministry responsibilities, have equipped him with a wealth of knowledge and wisdom. His varied roles, including being a Starting Point facilitator and as Teaching Leader of Bible Study Fellowship International in the Richmond VA Men's Class, have shaped his unique perspective. First and foremost, as a follower of Jesus, he takes the role of His Ambassador of Hope seriously.

Bill and his wife Debbie have been married for over forty years and have three adult children.

​

He served in the US Navy Reserve and enjoys rowing, walking, hiking, and traveling. He recently completed his first Camino Frances Pilgrimage, walking from St. Jean Pied de Port, France, to Santiago, Spain.
